Vintage and Antique Typewriters to use

Come down and try typing on over a dozen restored vintage and antique typewriters, stationery, envelopes and stamps will be provided. Bravery is the theme for this event so feel free to type a note, poem, novella, short story or memory about someone you know that is brave, or something that you have done or will do that is brave. Mothers Day is just around the corner so maybe a note to Mom.

Custom hand painted typewriters on display

Come and see a collection of custom hand painted typewriters painted by local artist Dave Benning. These are one of a kind functional works of art. The latest work is a tribute to Terry Fox and the Marathon of Hope. This machine has been donated to the Fox Family to help bring attention to an amazing cause. April is the 43rd Anniversary of Terry Fox's run and bravery is the theme so we will be graciously accepting donations at the event for the Terry Fox Foundation.

We are very excited to be hosting the First Draft - Typewriter Takeover: Bravery Edition! 

We will be giving away this restored vintage 1967 Smith Corona Corsair typewriter and other prizes as well. Just add your name and contact information at the event and we will draw names at random to win the prizes.
